Pepiniere Europeennes pour Jeunes Artiste's program - <<bzzz>>, invited The Third Person developed two works in relation to the context of Biarritz and the context of FIPA as a film festival.

The result was a series of conversations about aspects of what should people film in Biarritz and Popped Corn. An experimental video made and screened at the festival. Popped Corn was a generated piece reflecting upon the process of encountering the city of Biarritz, revealed within the structure and language of film. Stripping film back to singular elements, sound, light and motion, Popped Corn considers the structure within film, when film is removed from narrative. Based around the use of colour test charts (used for pre-shoot lense calibration), found title sequences, and credits, the work represents the artist's interaction with the location in London and Biarritz as an empty film set. The sound merges the distinction between the visible and audible by generating composition derived from colour samples taken from the video. excerts
