Talk show was a community based video project commissioned by Immediate Theatre for the Holly Street Estate in Dalston, Hakney.

The Third Person worked in situ on Holly Street for a three-day period in April 2004. Each day consisted of filming conversations with members of the local community about their surroundings and issues relevant to their environment. Based in a mobile studio within the estate this footage was continually edited and each night the resulting film was projected onto the buildings nearby. Participants in the filming and other community members attended nightly screenings as a public gathering to view and discuss the issues raised.

Each day this material was added to and presented at night. As a result a social dialogue and public presence was established for all of the residents.
